Vince Zampella, Dies in a California Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The renowned video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his family, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
