This Top Shared Screen Game You Have Almost Certainly Not Played Is Coming to Switch
Wizard of Legend 2, a procedurally-generated journey about sorcerers striving to achieve status as mythical figures, is coming to the Switch in the coming weeks. It'll be playable November 25, providing devotees of couch co-op games a fresh shot to explore one of this year's top-tier entries in its class.
A Rocky Launch
The Wizard of Legend Sequel adopted the path of numerous under-the-radar games. The development team launched it in early access in October 2024 on computer systems, ahead of releasing it in full, together with PS5 and Xbox iterations, in mid-2025. At launch, it faced heavy criticism. Only 29 percent of its user reviews are positive. The Steam reviews are "divided", according to nearly a couple thousand evaluations, with numerous players pointing out the overall roughness and litany of bugs upon release. Gamers on PlayStation and Xbox further criticized that the cooperative mode, a key feature for the title, largely didn't work.
Steady Refinements
But as with numerous early access games that release in unpolished conditions, The Wizard of Legend Sequel has gotten better. In recent months, its developers have released several fixes aimed to resolve these problems. Having played Wizard of Legend 2 more frequently than every other latest game in the current year, one can assert it's a bit more functional compared to initially (for Xbox, if nothing else). It has achieved the point where most of the time, one can successfully start a cooperative run to function. Not bad!
Once It Works, It Excels
Furthermore when Wizard of Legend II works, it works. With a top-down angle, you fight through element-based dungeons by launching incantations in fast-paced combat. A great deal of dashing, a great deal of evading, a great deal of handling spell delays. This game is incredibly rapid and highly imaginative; through blending your magical attacks with a friend's, you can create some devastating combinations.
Nintendo Switch Edition Details
Although the Nintendo Switch edition has not been extensively tested, it's important to remember Nintendo's famously strict quality standards for Switch games. The developer stated in a news release that the Nintendo release of Wizard of Legend 2 features all updates that have been released in the current year.
