The UK airline will offer free quick onboard internet through Starlink deal

Flyers flying with the airline can soon use quick wifi during flights at no cost following a new partnership involving SpaceX's space firm.

No-cost plus Quick Connectivity Across the Board

The airline stated that the free, “quick and reliable” wifi provision via Starlink will be available to customers flying coach, business, and premium cabins starting next month.

Broad Implementation Across Several Airlines

The parent company of British Airways, International Airlines Group, stated it had secured an deal involving Starlink for providing wifi services across more than 500 planes across its operators, which also include Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.

Smooth Connectivity starting at Boarding through Arrival

The airline stated that the introduction of the system was included in a £7bn “modernization” plan that will offer smooth connectivity access for passengers from boarding to landing, even when in flight above large bodies of water or far-off locations.
