Patrick Bamford Signs With the Blades After Initiating Abusive Songs Targeting Manager Chris Wilder

This experienced forward, without a club since leaving Leeds United, has put pen to paper on a agreement joining the second-tier club in difficulty until January. Bamford's seven-year spell at Elland Road finished amicably this past summer.
Among Bamford’s last memorable actions while at Leeds was to lead offensive chants about Wilder amid Leeds' promotion celebrations in April. Now, the former England international will be playing for Wilder as the Blades’ manager looks to rescue the team he loves out of the drop zone.

“We spent a short while and similarly I spoke to Daniel Farke too and had a half-hour chat together and he's a great person, a top guy. When I was playing we would give it and take it and that’s part and parcel of the game at every level, including Sunday league. I've got no problem at all. I am cool with it and I told him that to Pat.”
