Child of Former South African Head of State Jacob G Zuma Refutes Terrorism Allegations as Court Case Begins
The offspring of previous South African President Zuma has entered a not guilty plea to terror-linked charges at the beginning of her legal proceedings in the port city of Durban city.
Zuma-Sambudla, 43 years old, is being prosecuted over remarks she made on online platforms four years ago during deadly demonstrations in South Africa that occurred subsequent to the apprehension of her father.
A period of anarchy in multiple regions of the country in mid-2021, including theft and intentional burning, left at least 300 individuals dead and led to damage worth an approximate $2.8bn (£2.2bn).
